MitID app on several devices

You can use the MitID app on up to 3 devices, e.g. your smartphone, work phone or your tablet. The code for activating them is available from your Citizen Service.

To activate your app, you receive a SMS with a temporary PIN code. The SMS is sent to the mobile phone number you have asked to be used for notifications.

If you have installed the MitID app on three devices, and you want to block the MitID app on one of them, you can use the MitID app on one of the remaining two to do so via MitID.dk.

Other authenticators

You can order a MitID code display, a MitID audio code reader or a MitID chip. Note that the time between you order and receive the MitID authenticator can be up to 14 days.
