Before you start the application to become a MitID broker, you must obtain a service certificate from the Danish Business Authority, which you attach in the application form.

The service certificate contains relevant information from ATP, the Tax Administration, the Bankruptcy Court and the Criminal Register.

You should expect an average treatment time of two weeks.

This is how your company becomes MitID broker

  1. Obtain a service certificate from the Danish Business Authority on Virk.dk.
  2. Submit this to Broker-support@nets.eu along with the following information.
    1. Company information
    2. Technical and business contact information
    3. Decide if you wish to use Nets' certification partner or if you wish to use an external independent partner

  3. Read and accept the terms of the Broker Agreement.
  4. If you have chosen Nets' certification partner, Nets' certification partner invites you to a kick-off meeting.
  5. Upload the documentation as agreed to Nets' certification partner:
    1. Completed Base Certification Requirements Form.
    2. Documentation of compliance with requirements.
  6. Nets reviews your basic certification and informs you about the status.
