New version of the MitID app for Apple and Android

On September 16, 2025, a new version of the MitID app will be released. The new version includes minor bug fixes and maintenance.

The new version of the MitID app (v3.6.1) coincides with Apple’s new update – iOS 26. To ensure that the MitID users will be able to use the passport and face scanning functionality in the MitID app with the new Apple update, a new version of the MitID app will be made available.

The update is not expected to affect MitID users. However, if you experience issues with passport or face scanning in the MitID app, please check that you have updated to the latest version.

In addition, the new version of the MitID app includes a bug fix that may help resolve issues some Android users have experienced. This issue happens when switching between apps while logging into another app with the MitID app.
