Some Android users are currently experiencing problems with the MitID app

Some Android users are currently experiencing problems when attempting to use their MitID app to log into another app. These Android users will need to update the settings for the MitID app on their phone or tablet. See below for instructions:

  1. Open the Settings on your phone or tablet.
  2. Select Apps (on some devices, you may need to select Apps twice).
  3. Choose MitID.
  4. Select Set as default.
  5. Select Open supported links (this may also be called “Open in other apps”).
  6. Try logging in with MitID in the desired app again. The issue should be resolved.

If you have one of the phones listed at the bottom, follow the instructions for that specific model.

Please note: the list is continuously updated with additional phones.

Instructions by Phone Model

  1. Open the settings on your phone.
  2. Open Apps & notifications (this may also be called Apps).
  3. Tap See all apps.
  4. Find and tap the MitID app in the list.
  5. Tap Advanced (if available) and select Open by default.
  6. Make sure that Open supported links is enabled.
  7. Now try logging in with MitID again in the desired app. The error should be resolved.Åbn indstillinger på din telefon.
