You can change your password on your profile page when you are logged in at MitID.dk.
Note that you can log in to MitID.dk without using a password if you have the MitID app.
MitID Support can help you change your password. MitID Support can send you an activation code, which you then use to create a new password.
You need to call MitID Support to get help; you cannot contact them in writing. Call MitID Support at +45 33 98 00 10
When you speak with MitID Support, you must identify yourself. You will be asked to provide either your passport or driver’s license number (valid Danish or Greenlandic driver’s license or passport) and then answer a series of questions based on your information in the CPR register. If you cannot answer enough questions, MitID Support will not be able to assist you.
At Citizen Service Centre (Borgerservice), you can get help changing your password.
