To get help from your Citizen Service Centre, you must prove who you are. MitID has strict requirements on how to document and validate your identity, among other things to prevent identity theft.
To get help from your Citizen Service Centre you must:
A witnesser is a person, who will visit the citizen service centre with you and confirm who you are. To be a witnesser, the person must be 18 years or older and have had MitID for more than 10 days. The witnesser must bring valid documentation with picture (see below) and his or her MitID. The person is allowed to be a witnesser for 3 persons within a 120 day period.
Are you a foreigner or living abroad, it is recommended that you bring a witnesser, as there might not be enough information about you in the CPR Register.
