MitID code display

The code display is a small electronic device that displays a one-time password code. Enter the one-time password code, when you log on to confirm your MitID.

How to approve with MitID code display

When you want to use the MitID code display to approve with MitID, you first have to enter your user ID and a 6-digit one-time password code from the code display. You get the one-time password code by pressing the button on your MitID code display – be aware that the button must be to your left side. Finally, you have to enter your password. You have now approved with MitID.

When you order your MitID code display, you can choose to have it sent to you by mail. Delivery time is up to 15 days.

You can also pick up a MitID code display at Citizen Service. Be aware that some Citizen Services require you to book an appointment before you show up. You must bring valid documentation.
