If you cannot open your MitID app

If you are having trouble opening the MitID app, it may be due to a number of factors in the setup of the browser you are using. Here are some suggestions on how to handle the situation.

Use a tested browser
To open the MitID app, you should use a browser that is installed on your mobile or tablet, such as Safari or Google Chrome. If you have followed a link via an app (e.g. Facebook or LinkedIn), you may be in an "in app browser" from which MitID cannot be used.

Avoid private or incognito mode
Make sure your browser is not in private or incognito mode. Authentication must be done in an open browser.
You can check your browser's mode under settings in the browser.
