Download and open the MitID app

  1. Download the MitID app from the Danish Agency for Digital Government in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play.
  2. Open the MitID app.
  3. Tap Get started.
  4. Choose Passport/ID card and tap Next.
  5. Accept Terms and Conditions and read the Private Policy
  6. Choose your passports country of origin and tap Next.
  7. If you have a passport/ID card from another country than Denmark or a diplomatic passport, you must do one of the following: Fill in your CPR number or a P code (if you do not have a CPR number) Read about how to acquire a P code.

Go to step 3 - Scan passport code, read chip and scan face
